<p>The eligibility information&nbsp;below will give you an idea of whether you may be eligible to receive Medi-Cal coverage. However, eligibility for Medi-Cal can only be fully evaluated by an Eligibility Worker. When you&nbsp;apply, your Eligibility Worker will explain the&nbsp;requirements that&nbsp;apply to your situation.</p>

ELIGIBILITY</h2>

<p>Eligibility for Medi-Cal is based on a number of factors:<br />
Tax Household, income, citizenship/residency status, and in some cases property. Your income cannot make you ineligible for Medi-Cal, but you may have a share of cost. A share of cost is an amount that you pay&nbsp;before Medi-Cal pays for medical&nbsp;expenses.</p>

<p>There are Medi-Cal Programs that may eliminate your share of cost. Your worker will determine whether you qualify&nbsp;for these programs.</p>

<p>In some cases real and personal property that you own must be within program limits, but the home that you live in is exempt.</p>

<p>Individuals without satisfactory immigration status may qualify for Medi-Cal coverage limited to emergency and pregnancy related services.</p>

<p>Individuals with one of the following specific health care needs may qualify for a special Medi-Cal Program: Dialysis, Tuberculosis services, TPN (intravenous, nutrition) services, certain services for minors and nursing facility coverage.</p>

<h2>RENEWAL</h2>

<p>You will get a letter in the mail that tells you if your Medi-Cal was renewed automatically&nbsp;or if your county needs more information. If you receive a renewal packet or a notice asking for more information, you may submit the information by mail, phone, in person, or online at&nbsp;https://benefitscal.com/</p>

<h2>LiveHealth Online</h2>

<p>LiveHealth Online is a website and mobile application that provides 24/7 access to on-demand video visits. It connects patients with board certified physicians supporting physical and behavioral health. Physicians can electronically prescribe to the member&#39;s pharmacy. It is available at no cost to Medi-Cal Managed Care members with Anthem Blue Cross.</p>
