Marriage License Application
Please download and completely fill out the Marriage License Application Worksheet (see link below). Scan and email the application and copies of both parties’ photo identification with your appointment request to email@example.com. If you do not have a scanner, please send the original application and photo copies of both parties’ identification to Mono County Clerk, Marriage Appointment Request, PO Box 237, Bridgeport, CA 93517. We will be in contact with you to confirm your appointment.
Please bring your photo ID and payment with you to your appointment. We accept credit cards, check, or cash (please have exact change). The cost for a public license is $66, confidential license is $80 and a ceremony is $158. On May 2, 2023 a new fee schedule was approved which will become effective on July 1st, 2023 and can be viewed under Clerk-Recorder Fees.
If you arrive at your appointment without the required identification or payment, your appointment may be rescheduled.
For a ceremony, you will need one witness. If you do not have a witness, please let us know and we can provide one for you. We will perform the ceremony in our lobby, the courthouse or outdoors, weather permitting.
