MESSAGE FROM THE 2025 BOARD CHAIR

Dear Mono County Residents and Visitors:

It is my distinct honor, as 2025 Chair of the Board of Supervisors, to present the Mono County Annual Report. This document is far more than a summary of financials and activities; it is a vivid testament to the enduring spirit of our Eastern Sierra home.

As I reflect on 2024 and 2025, the defining themes are unequivocally resilience, community partnerships, and shared goals. We faced challenges that demanded coordinated action and, in turn, discovered even deeper wells of collaboration among our residents, businesses, and neighboring agencies. These efforts led to tangible milestones, from advancing strategic housing initiatives that support our workforce to launching key infrastructure upgrades that enhance connectivity across the county.

These achievements underscore the extraordinary strength of our entire community and the tireless dedication of our staff. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to the people who serve Mono County every day; your commitment is the bedrock of our success.
