Subject: Eagle 2 Fire Update

The #Eagle2 Fire in Bridgeport (Buckeye Canyon) is holding at over 100 acres. Interagency fire crews are working to contain the fire burning in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest just west of Bridgeport. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation. The fire is currently burning in timber, grass and understory. The fire is one mile south of the Buckeye Campground.

The fire started at 12:17pm on Wednesday, August 12. Closures include Buckeye Campground, Buckeye Road and nearby hot springs.
