Southern California Edison (SCE) may use Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) during times of low humidity, dry vegetation, and high winds to keep communities safe. These proactive outages may be longer and more widespread in our high-desert and mountain communities—including areas that have not historically experienced PSPS.
