IHSS helps eligible older adults, people who are blind, and people with disabilities live safely at home—instead of in nursing or board-and-care facilities—by paying for in-home help. Recipients must be eligible for or receiving Medi-Cal.
We provide programs and resources to help older adults stay healthy, active, and independent.
Weekly delivery of 5 hot or frozen meals to adults 60+ who are homebound or unable to cook. Includes a friendly visit and safety check. Available countywide.
Rides to non-emergency medical appointments and essential services for homebound or isolated seniors. Bus passes available.
Nutritious meals, social events, and a welcoming space at the Antelope Valley Senior Center.
