Self-Access to CalJOBS Accessing
and entering information into CalJOBS through your own Internet connection
allows you to save time and insure the accuracy of your employment needs.
By listing your openings on CalJOBS, you gain access to the largest single pool of applicants in Mono County. People with different ages, skills and experiences! Testing and assessment of applicants’ skills and aptitudes are analyzed.
When hiring certain qualified candidates through the Career Service Center, you may be reimbursed up to 50% of each new employee’s wages during the time he or she is learning the job. Depending on the complexity of the job and the qualifications of the trainee, this period may last from three to twelve months.
Tax credits of up to $8,500 per individual hired are available to employers who hire certain qualified candidates. We can advise you of who qualifies for the tax credits thus simplifying the process.
Comfortable conference, presentation, interview, orientation and meeting space is available for employer events.
Provides employers with opportunities to stay current with changes in employment law and other business-related issues through seminars and workshops sponsored by Career Services Center and Employment Development Department.
