Managing Pinyon-Juniper Expansion in Sagebrush Ecosystems: Next Steppe for the Bi-State

February 25-26, 2015
CVIC Hall in Minden, Nevada

The forum was a huge success! Over 150 participants joined us to to discuss the science, effects and impacts, cultural concerns, and other issues of Pinyon and Juniper trees in sagebrush ecosystems. The presentations provided the scientific basis for excellent public discussion. THANK YOU to all who attended and especially the presenters.

The purpose of the forum was to advance the next step of conservation for Bi-State sage-grouse populations, and achieve prioritization and implementation of large-scale projects through recently committed funding and collaboration between federal and state agencies, NGOs and private individuals.
