Q: Where do I find current job postings for County employment?
A: Job postings are located in two different locations.
Jobs offered by Mono County are listed in the Human Resources Department
homepage. Select the Link above titled "County Job Listings."
Non-government job opportunities within Mono County are listed in the
Career Services Center homepage.
Q:
Where do I find information on waste disposal and recycling in Mono County?
A: The Department of Public Works will answer any questions
you may have on this subject. The Public Works homepage contains a list
of all landfills and transfer stations, as well as location maps. For
information on recycling in the Town of Mammoth Lakes, visit the Town
website.
Q:
Why do some Mono County department homepages look different from others?
A:
Not all County web pages were created at the same time. The County-wide
project began in the Fall of 2003, during which time the majority of the
departments had their homepage created. However, a handful of departments
had already been operating their own websites for several years. Through
time, we hope to integrate most of the County pages together.
